The PC-3000 Portable III Now Supports the Silicon Motion SM2258XT SSDs!

ACE lab developers have done a great job by researching Silicon Motion SM2258XT SSDs and optimizing the algorithms to make the most efficient and stable Utility for this type of the drives. As such, you can now raise your data recovery success rate by dealing with Silicon Power Slim S55, KingDian S200, WD Green, Apacer AS350 Panther, Patriot P200, Smartbuy Jolt, RevuAhn 885, Crucial BX500, and other SM2258XT SSDs.

The support appears with the beta version of the PC-3000 SSD Extended software ver. 2.9.3 available for the PC-3000 Portable III users. To get the beta version of the software, please contact our Technical Support Department.

The PCIe AHCI SSDs: Now Supported by the PC-3000 Portable III

By popular demand, we have added the PCIe AHCI SSDs to the Support List with the BETA ver. 6.8.2 of the PC-3000 Portable III software. To deal with this type of storage media, you additionally need the new PCIe NVMe/AHCI Adapter for Apple Macbook SSD and PCIe x16 SSD Adapter.

This solution has significantly increased the number of supported PCIe SSDs, especially Apple Macbook SSDs. If previously we only had 2017-2019 devices in the Supported List, now the manufacture dates of supported Apple Macbook SSDs start from 2013! Please follow the link below to learn more about it.

The New Software Add-On: PC-3000 SSD Extended!

The ACE Lab developers constantly research drives which results in a rapid expansion of the support list for the most modern storage media devices. Today, we have released PC-3000 SSD Extended – the new software add-on that supports the widest range of SSD types: SATA, mSATA, M.2 SATA, M.2 PCIe NVMe/АHCI, PCIe x16, Apple Macbook, LIF, ZIF, PATA.

The additional features of the PC-3000 SSD Extended add-on for PCIe SSD (NVMe/AHCI) appear with the beta version of software available for the PC-3000 Portable III users only. To get the beta version of the software, please contact our Technical Support Department.

The New PCIe x16 SSD Adapter Is Now Available for Order!

We are glad to announce that the new PCIe x16 SSD Adapter for custom and native NVMe SSDs with PCIe x1-x16 interface is now available for order!

The new adapter is extremely useful for the work with the drives that have a full-size PCIe bus as the only option to plug an SSD (e.g. Intel DC P4618, Samsung PM1733). You may come upon such drives in server platforms and data centers because they are very stable and powerful. However, the bad sectors can still appear due to prolonged use. In this case, the new PCIe x16 SSD Adapter paired with the PC-3000 Portable III helps to bypass bad sectors and get data from SSDs.

New Features of the PC-3000 Portable III: 2-in-1 SD/mSD Card Reader Adapter and Extended Functionality of the Standalone Mode

The PC-3000 Portable III keeps enhancing to meet the demands of data recovery engineers and digital forensics examiners. This is the 5th update since we have launched the new product in January 2020 and more useful features are yet to come. From now on, the specialized 2-in-1 SD/MicroSD Card Reader Adapter, which supports memory cards with a capacity of 1 TB and below, is included in the PC-3000 Portable III delivery kit. Besides, the Standalone Mode got a lot of new features such as hash sum calculation during data copying and reading, viewing SMART parameters, quick switching to LBA 0 / last LBA, and Dynamic LBA change in the Sector View mode. All the new features are available starting from the PC-3000 Portable III Software Ver. 6.7.12 and Data Extractor Ver. 5.10.7 which is already uploaded to the Customer Update Boxes for all authorized technical support users.

The PC-3000 Flash Software Update 7.4.11 is now available!

Data recovery engineers and digital forensics experts consider the PC-3000 Flash as the tool №1 when it comes to extracting data/evidence from damaged NAND Flash devices. It is the only solution that completely supports many drive brands, e.g. SanDisk, new Phison, or SiliconMotion, so you can get file systems, and separate files both. Now we have expanded the list of supported storage media by adding 9 types of translators for SanDisk 8sec, 2 subtypes of translators for SM2704, and have improved algorithms for PS8210. Also, you can now edit the solution before implementing it and reproduce the result in the transformation graph form that increases the efficiency of the solutions.

A Huge Success of the ACE Lab Online Technology Conference on Data Recovery & Digital Forensics 2020

For the first time, the ACE Lab Technology Conference on Data Recovery & Digital Forensics was held online. Although we really missed our usual in-person component of the Prague event, we were very glad that so many of you could join the live streams on April 23-24, 2020.

This year we had over 1000 people from 92 countries signed up for the meeting and joined in at the various stages of the live streams. And this proves just how much the data recovery engineers and digital forensics experts are keen on being up-to-date with the latest advances in the field provided by ACE Lab. During the sessions, we showed 18 live case demos on how to most efficiently recover data and evidence from all types of storage media devices with the PC-3000 Products.
